The perfect way to store your mason bee cocoons while they wait to be put outside in the spring. We want to place our mason bees outside when fruit trees begin to bloom, but if the weather warms too quickly in the spring, your bees may begin hatching a bit too early. To solve this problem, mason bees should be kept refrigerated once temperatures reach the 50s. Modern refrigerators are "frost free", because the humidity level inside is greatly reduced. Using the HumidiBee to hold your cocoons keeps them from drying out or getting accidentally crushed.
