This hands-on workshop is designed to give you an overview of the different species of bees that can be raised in our area, including both honeybees and native bees. We will be discussing the pros and cons of the different species, to help you decide which kind of bees would be best for your circumstances. We will also cover what it takes to get started, including the equipment that you will need and where to get your first bees.

Not ready to raise bees yourself? That's okay! The information is also useful for anyone that  wants to know what they can do to help our bees, and for those who are just curious about what is happening to bees across the globe.
