6th Bi-Annual Garden & Bee Sale

  • Redemption Lutheran Church & School 20120 24th Avenue West Lynnwood, WA, 98036 United States (map)

We will be at a new location for the sale this year!

This is our 6th year, and you won't be disappointed! Our pepper plants, the hottest of the hot, are looking absolutely beautiful. We have a nice selection of heirloom, cherry, roma, and beefsteak tomatoes. Other plant varieties will include herbs, and vegetables including peas, beans of several types, cucumbers, zucchini, and probably some other things that I am forgetting! All the plants are either in 4” in 1 gallon pots. They were all grown from either organic seed or from seeds that have been saved from our own garden. We don’t use any pesticides or weed killers, we just give the plants a little organic fertilizer and compost.

Of Milk and Honey is an affiliate of Crown Bees, and we carry a large selection of their products. I will be happy to talk to visitors about raising bees of all kinds, including honey bees and gentle mason & leafcutter bees. Houses, nesting materials, books, and complete bee raising kits will be available at the sale.

And of course there will be soap, scrubs, lotion bars, beeswax salves, and more! Our bath and beauty products are made to be pollinator friendly. That means using organic oils, so we aren’t encouraging the use of pesticides. It also means making products that are environmentally friendly, right down to the packaging. And, as always, we are a proud supporter of The Xerces Society. Every purchase makes a difference!

The sale is taking a place at a new location. Some of my children are students at Redemption School in Lynnwood, and they are having a multi-family garage sale on the same date. I am watching the items get delivered for the sale and there are some really great things! There are cute matching end side tables, an almost new motorcycle, several adult and kids’ bikes, a scroll saw, two dining tables, a Barbie Jeep, a roll front entertainment cabinet, an Xbox with Kinect, gigantic model rockets,a large collection of H-O scale trains, and at least 6 garment racks full of clothes. The space is huge, with plenty of parking. Visit the kids in the Snack Shack if you need to take a break from shopping! For more info on the garage sale, view the Craigslist Ad.

Please spread the word!
