We are participating in the 21st Annual Herb and Food Fair at Bastyr University. This year's theme is "Sustaining Cultural Traditions". There will be presentations and workshops throughout the day, including talks by keynote speakers March Williams and Valerie Segrest. Marc is an ethnobioligist, having studied the connections between plants, people, mushrooms, and microbes. Valerie is a native nutrition educator specializing in local and traditional foods.
Of Milk and Honey will be sharing our knowledge of beekeeping, focusing on native bees. Beeswrap sustainable food wraps, beeswax soaps, and beekeeping supplies will be available for sale.
